My Casio Exilim Z70 was working perfectly fine last week when i took it to a Milwaukee Brewers game. But of course when it comes to me acutally needing it to take pictures of a family vacation it wont work.
I put my battery on the charger and the red charging light flashes (i thought this was normal for charging) I left it on the charger overnight. When i put the battery back in my camera nothing happens. No green light, no movement of the lense aboultly nothing. If anyone has any insight please help. I leave in about 2 hours
Yes, my battery now does not work at all, and the light flashes when it's in the charger. It's not that old, either. Yes, my battery now does not work at all, and the light flashes when it's in the charger. It's not that old, either.

Your battery isn't taking any charge and you'll have to replace it. I've had this happen also but with a spare battery for this camera I bought from a store.

this mostly happens due to the motor failure or loose-connection of the wire of motor of lens. or some thing must be stuck inside the shutter or motor..
I've seen a lot of Casio chargers go bad, not charge the battery, and then this is what happens. I've been using an aftermarket charger and battery I got off eBay, and they work great. I've even used the aftermarket charger to "revive" batteries that the Casio charger wouldn't charge up.
