Question about Canon PIXMA iP4000 InkJet Photo Printer
My printer doesnt seem to want to print and the error message comes up asking me to repeatedly cancel any printing jobs and turn the printer on and off to restart , this it tells me should correct the problem, the power button goes green and then flashes 5 times in orange. Sadly i could continue to complete this cycle until Christmas by which time i will have probably be bought another printer, which im my opinion is a waist of what could have been an oportunity to get a decent present, lol. Any way, that aside, the tray change icon took some time to change aswell but ive manged to get it to stop being green. Can anyone give me any advice.
5 orange flashes indicates a problem with the print head. you could try carefully removing the print head (the thing holding the print cartridges) and replacing it. turning it off/on. make sure the print cartidges are ok. If still no good you might need to get it serviced?
