Since I can't read Russian, I can't read any options to reset the language to English.
Can anyone tell me exactly what arrows to press to get back or English or restore factory settings?
My company uses nothing but HP printers some are connected to the
network while others are locally connected to a computer. I have worked
with this exact model.
First, the easiest thing to try is to power cycle the printer. Hold
down the button to turn off then turn back on. You can also unplug it
from its power source then plug back in.
Power cycling this printer should reset the language to default
(English) or it will let you select the language when it comes back
on. If that doesn't work then you can try to change it using the
installed software.
Considering the fact that someone accidentally changed the language, I
am assuming this printer is connected directly to a computer that you
all have access to and this is not a network printer.
If this is a local printer (connected directly to the computer via USB
or parrallel port) then you should have an HP Toolbox app or some other
program that allows you to configure software related settings for the
device. Open this tool and you should find an option for the language.
This may not be available, depending on how the installation was
handled (if it was installed using the CD provided by the manufacturer
or installed using downloaded drivers).
Try this out and let me know if it helps.
