Try recalibrating the screen. Having said that, with the number of adverts for buying one, it looks like there is an issue.

I really don't know the answer to that. Have you tried to Google for an answer? There are some tell-tale markings on the models that will help to narrow it down. For instance mine is one of the earlier models and has "Designer 1" written directly below the screen. Later models moved that wording up above the screen. Later still models had "ESS" added. I would need to look at my HV magazines to track down when these changes occurred, so write back with a description of where your decals are. If your machine is on layaway with a HV dealer, they should be able to give you a ball park estimate of its age. Phone and ask them - if they can't/won't tell you, ask them to describe to you where the decals are (I'm guessing you would not have made a note of this before the machine was put aside for you).

You can have replacement discs ordered from Husqvarna Viking. Visit an authorized Husqvarna Viking dealer for them to order the replacement discs. However, you might luck out and they have some already on hand from a scrapped machine or a trade-in. You can find your nearest dealer by visiting the Husqvarna Viking website - http://www.husqvarnaviking.com and clicking on dealer link down the left side of the page.

Sounds like the feeding mechanism is messed up. If turning it on and off does not resolve the issue, you'll need to have it serviced by a certified Husqvarna Viking service technician. If you are the original owner it may still be under warranty. SE's have a 5 year electronic parts warranty and 20 year mechanical warranty. However, you will need to have it serviced by a Husqvarna Viking dealer.
