Lexmark p450 have lost driver disc, i have downloaded drivers successfuly, however when i open file it says error, could not createobject named"wscript.shell" can anybody please help ???

You must be trying to run the programme, instead you should remove the printer and connect to another usb port and when the printer is found, it will ask for the driver, at which point you choose to install the driver manually and not automatic and point windows to the folder in which you have the driver downloaded, but if it is a zip file ensure you unzip it first.

I found this possible solutions for your problem. Most likely some software installation has messed with the file Scrrun.dll and possibly other WSH files in folder windows\system32, or it's registration. 1)It may not be registered properly. From Start/Run, type regsvr32 %SystemRoot%\system32\scrrun.dll You should now get this message box: --------------------------- RegSvr32 --------------------------- DllRegisterServer in C:\Winnt\system32\scrrun.dll succeeded. --------------------------- OK --------------------------- 2)If this doesn't solve your problem, download and install WSH 5.6 from here: http://msdn.micr- osoft.com/nhp/Default.asp?contentid=28001169

Can't find disc

I suggest emailing lexmark and telling them u need a disc for a Lexmark X2550 printer. Maybe tell em yours didnt come with one when u bought it and be firm...or you can continue to try and download it from the internet.

Install disk

Lost disk to install

Lexmark does not distribute replacement install disk for all models.

Contact Lexmark here, to see if the disk for your printer is available.

If you do not have the disk you must download the software from Internet, follow instructions below,

Click here:Official Lexmark Drivers and Software

A web page will open, follow instructions, select model, select operative system etc., and click on download .
Chose to download the file in my documents when asked.
Afterdownloading, find thefile,double click on the file, then if you get introubles, follow the instructions below to reset and reinstall drivers:

Unplug printer USB.
Go to control panel >> installed printers in Windows and remove (delete ) any installed printer from printer list.
Download driver from website and run the file.
Follow driver installation wizard.
Plug back printer when prompted from installation wizard.

Note:some printer does not work on Vista

After clicking on this link a webpage will be open please follow the instructions and download please select operating system. choose to download the file in my documents when askedpage { size: 8.5in 11in; margin: 0.79in } P { margin-bottom: 0.08in } --> .

Unplug printer USB.
Go to control panel >> installed printers in Windows and remove (delete ) any installed printer from printer list.
Download driver from website and run the file.
Follow driver installation wizard.
Plug back printer when prompted from installation wizard.

Lost intallation disc

Hi Lsw,

Please click on below link it will take you to lexmarkx2350 printer driver page.

Select the OS in coloumn Drivers and Downloads
Click in Download now button
Small window will be opened wait for few seconds if download does not start, click on below link in same window
Press Save button , after download is completed run the downloaded file.
