Hi, It is possible that the memory of your camera got corrupted. You can try and format the memory and see if it will clear any errors and make the memory (card) available for use of the camera. Should you want to try and recover any images stored in the memory card, it has to be a removable one that you can plug in to a card reader attached to a PC. Run data recovery software to hopefully recover whatever you can from the memory. You can also format the memory with your PC and use a disk checking utility to check for any other errors. Thereafter, if things are ok, it will be ready for use of the camera. Hope this be of some use to you. Post back how things went or should you need additional information. Good luck and kind regards.

Maybe those shots you took were in the raw mode, If so then you have to convert them with the Nikon software that camera with the camera,to view them in your laptop, Try installing that software then view them again, Hope this helps,

My olympus digital 800 have a blank screen when im taking picture how can i fix it....

I recently experienced a similar problem with my Stylus Digital 800 where I got a black screen everytime I took a photo. The shutter could have been stuck in the closed position. This problem developed five years after I purchased the camera. I replaced the lens assembly (p/n VJ 946700) with a new one from Olympus Parts and this solved the problem.

Losing photos

They are probably still there. Get yourself a card reader and use it to download your pics. f1eb652.jpg

Panasonic Lumix DMC-FS5 cant upload photos!!

Did your friend use the "safely remove hardware" function when removing your card from her computer? That could corrupt your card if she didn't. Try this...take your card to a store like Walmart that has a Kodak picture kiosk. They can usually read everything on a card. There, you can print the pics or even make a cd of them. Afterwards, format your card in your camera.

Can't access photos

Insert the card...go into the menu and scroll to "copy". Follow the directions for copying the internal memory to the memory card.

Photo not saved

Maybe you created a new folder on the flash-card. When connecting the camera to the computer go to Windows Explorer, and search the camera. It should come up as a drive.

A better way to search the flash card of the camera is to remove the flash card, and use a USB flash reader to the computer.

If you still cannot find the files, it is possible that you accidently erased them.

If the files are erased, I am sure your kid would like another party. This way you can invite back all his or her friends and do a re-shoot. Just make sure you have a lot of cake, and soft drinks.

Loud electrical shock noise when flash goes off

I had the same problem with my camera a year ago and I took it in for service and they repaired it. I'm sorry but I don't remember what the problem was. It cost me about $90 for the service.
