Hello Unplug the DMR from AC mains socket, and replug it after 5 minutes. If this does not help you, make a factory reset to this set. Get into the user manual, and there is proceedings how to do the factory reset.
I suggest you run through the set up procedures for your DVR, just as if it is a new installation. Among other steps you will need to reset the time (reset the clock.)
This model only has an analogue tuner so wont receive anything if the analogue signal in your area has been switched off. either buy a new new with a freeview tuner built in or just use that one in conjunction with a freeview box.
I restarted 'Auto setup' this deletes the channel settings (which had presumably been corrupted) and re-installed them from the incoming signal. alexanderosb
For the remote to work, make sure "video" is selected (instead of "tv"). It's the little button on the remote under the red button at the top that turns on the TV ("TV/Video")
As for the split screen, I've had that happen numerous times (when I lose power or revert to default settings). YOu have to go to Setup, Display, and select 4:3.
I hope I have helped you. I'm having other problems - with the audio. Some channels have no audio (maybe 3 or 4) and 2 channels are in SPANISH!!! (??) Weird that it's not uniform. I even tried reverting to default settings (and got that split screen!), but didn't help. It "jumped" a few times to the input type screen. I'm thinking some chip got fried or something. I've had it almost 2 years, and guess that's the "built-in" obsolescence!! :-)
Good luck!
