Question about Motorola Mobility C168 Cellular Phone

C168 Keypad not working

I got a call & when i tried to receive no button on the keypad works, then have taken the battery & sim card out once & put them in, it shows the set time screen & as before the no key is working.

Keypad for chamberlin garage door opener stopped working
You need to reprogram the keypad. Press and release the learn button on the back of the motor. Within 20 seconds, press your four digit code into the keypad and press and hold the enter button until the lightbulb on the motor blinks once. You are finished.

Hi If you tried many many time to solve it and not succeces to solve. I think this is may be software problem so you can reload software.

Hi tina. Looks like the keypad of your phone is screwed. You will need to get a replacement keypad and it will be up and running again.Good luck!

KEYPAD???
Usually this means that you need to take it to a repair shop to have the keypad replaced but truthfuly it would be cheaper just to get a new phone. Hope this helps =)

No response from keypad input?
check your volume keys or any side keys that get stuck... or if you can open your fone check its keypad for any shortage...

Can only receive calls and turn the phone on and off! cannot dial out, access my contacts, ect., keypad not working at all.
If you are comfortable taking part of the phone apart there is something you can try. Remove the two Torx screws right below the battery. Gently pull the plastic cover loose. There will be a cable that connects this portion of the phone to the keypad/LCD/etc. Clean the connector on this cable and the connector it was plugged into with 99.5% Isopropyl alcohol. Reseat the cable and the part of the phone you removed and replace the screws you removed. If this does not work the keypad flex on the phone is probably damaged and will need to be looked at by a repair center.

Keypad will not work
This happened to mine after I got the Razor wet - I pulled the battery and the sim card, blew it out with a can of compressed air and it worked for about 8 months. Then it got hot out in my car and started doing the same thing - blowing it out hasnt worked again-

Broken phone!!
Saw quite a few of these. Have you tried taking the battery and Sim out while the phone is still on? did you try to flash your firmware on your Razr? there is one firmware will mess up your keypad, but all you have to do is apply keypad flex and it will work again. A friend recently updated his firmware and had to re-apply flex, works fine now. Good luck!

how to activate call forwarding? I can't activate call forward to all calls using my sun sim. It says not done but when i used TM sim i can activate now my call forward to any number. Please help me find out a solution for this i really need to divert my calls using my sun sim for important matter.
