Question about Motorola Mobility Q

Freezes due to low storage space alert

When I turned on my phone, I immediately got a low storage alert. I cannot delete unused items as suggested, because the device freezes repeatedly. all I can do is pop the battery out to reset. Pushing buttons does nothing. Help!

My daughter's phone has the same problem. We do not have a mini SD card. We will purchase one and let you know if the one suggested fix work.

Same. Just started a few days ago. It won't let me delete, just freezes really hardcore. Not sure if this is related, but soon after I got this message, my phone started refusing to send text messages. It just says "Error: Your text message cannot be sent." Anyone else?

Btw, I can still recieve text messages.

And, I do have an SD card in the phone.

Alert message pops us : low on free storage space, delete old or unsused items, however there is nothing to delete

delete all email texts un-necessary files and clear your search history on you internet, you may want to use a card for storage, on your email you can set it to store to card and can also do that for photos and files.

My HTC TOUCH PHONE is constantly throwing up an error ''YOUR PHONE IS RUNNING LOW ON FREE STORAGE SPACE.DELETE OLD OR UNUSED ITEMS TO CREATE MORE SPACE''. I have stored nothing much on my system memory...

Have you ever cleaned or reset your Pda? If not, then do it. It may happen due to your temp files which is using your space. Before you reset, backup your all datas and contact.

Low memory

The solution was to do a hard reset on the phone. It literally cleared everything off the
phone. Luckily I had everything backed up. Phone works great now.

Storage space

look in UAContents folder. IT's keeping a copy of every image you send via MMS. Delete those and you're set.

Can you help me in fixing this problem

Hi Buddy... I had a similar problem and fortunately came across this tip on this link... http://mycusthelp.com/Voq/supportkbitem.asp?sSessionID=&Inc=148 Here's what you need to do : The steps to perform While the Voq Professional Phone turned off, remove the battery and then reinstall. Flip-open QWERTY thumbpad. Press and hold space key and simultaneously press and hold On/Off button until the Voq Professional Phone turns turns on completely (approximately 5 - 10 seconds). The space key and On/Off button may be released after a blue screen will appear stating Factory Reset Mode!!! Erasing flash... Percent Do not interrupt the Factory Reset until the Home screen appears. (approximately 3 minutes) Recommended tasks to perform after IPSM reset. Setting the time and date configuration Setting a GPRS connection and Internet connection using GPRS God! trust me these chaps saved the day for me, they're amazing. Hope this'l solve the problem for you. Cheers :-) [email protected]
