    Hi

I have similar problem with Plasma LG 42PC1DA. TV will not turn on; You can see a green light for a second but after that it goes back to red and cycle repeats itself; you can also hear a click. In order to turn on the TV I have to unplug it and wait for few minutes, but this does not help every time. I send TV to service shop (it is still on warranty)- second time and they are telling me that they can not find any fault. Last time when I got back my TV from repair they told me that it could be a digital terminal, but when every single cable is disconnected from TV ( cable, DVD) problem is still there

Hi, I think you have to get it checked out by a profesional, unpluging your appliances is a good idea but damage can also ocuur the moment you plug them back on. If you want to try it could be that a fuse is open there not normal fuses inside (small chip fuses surface mount)

Unexpectedly Turning Off
Many LG LCD television owners have reported a problem
where their television will power itself off or will only work
for short periods of time.
The problem usually occurs in brand new televisions and requires
the television to be sent to LG or your local electronics repair
shop to be repaired.

Lost TV Guide capabilities on my LG 32LX1D. LG support has helped me in the past but now says tv needs service. Help please?

It will need a software update or a complete factory re-set. The only way to do this is to contact an LG dealer to arrange a service call.

This is a bad digital main board. Having to unplug and plug it back in is a dead giveaway for this problem. The part number for the main digital board is 3313TD3014A. Hope this helps.

I can't turn off my TV

Hi,

Maybe your logic-board is a little stressed.
If your TV doesn't response on your remote control, the only way to switch off is to unplug it.

After one minut you can plug it in and give it a try, no problem.
If it still doesn't work, you have to visit your dealer.

Kind regards,
Gerard

MY lg 32lx1d is not turning on..

I had the same sympton on my tv...it worked fine one day and the next day it would flash a green light a few times you would see the screen power on, but still be dark then the power light would go red. I couldn't do anything on the tv no menus or sound. It turned out to be a bad power supply, a new power supply will run around $200-300 - in my opinion it wasn't worth fixing. My neighbor was able to fix my tv - he repairs electronics - ended up cost me $100.00 - its been running for 7 months now no problems so far...I can have him fix this for you if you are in the area - shipping makes this to expensive..he is located in south jersey...or you can try a tv repair shop ( i called for this but they wanted between $75-100 to just look at the unit + repair cost - i would of been back to the 200-300 range) let me know if you need help...John
