I want to calibrate the touch screen, the touch point has moved approx 2 inches away from the actual point. i tried using setup calibration but id does not work inspite of restoring factory settings. please help.
I encountered the same problem but was able to fix it. Just don't know if it's just temporary. Go to tools, control panel, other, set up wizard, tap yes, tap the second button before cancel, keep on clicking to the right direction until the numbers 1, 2, 3 and 4 appears. Tap the center of each number until blinking stops, save settings. For the first few steps you may use the jog dial found on the left side of the phone if the touch screen does not follow your tappings.

Usually answered in minutes!
touching points in the middle only reacts to the botton buttons.
Effort to calibrate seems fruitless as point is almost 2 inched away from the calibration points.
my touch screen is to far from the buttons.
my p990i touchscreen is not working.. the touchscreen only.. what will i do to fix it??
The touch part on the right sight of the screen is bended from the corners like a parabol. Calibrate in setup is not useful as it only calibrates the corners, which are still ok. What else can ben done?
Recalibration wizard does not work as I cannot click on calibration points as the offset seems to be about 1 inch. Anyone got any ideas, or does it meean a new screen ?
after doing the setup wizard thing and the 1,2,3 and 4 dots, the screen is still off. I cannot tap on the scroll bar on the right side, all it does is to select the menus.
