First of all do not insert memory stick in PSP ON mode and if you are using memory stick with red strip as shown in image so please try it with the bottom type as shown in image then too your problem is not solved it means in your PSP there is memory card module PCB which is faulty.

  • 1 Insert the problematic 4GB Memory Stick Pro Duo into your PSP and turn the system on.
  • 2 Select "Settings" from the cross media bar and scroll down to "System Settings." Press "X" to access the sub menu and select "Format Memory Stick."
  • 3 Press "X" to confirm the formatting of the stick. Your PSP will delete any content on the stick and reformat to match how the PSP stores data and organizes files.

How to fix the psp 3006 when the games have gone suddenly after it hans and suddenly shuts down.

The problem is with your memory stick dou that causes your PSP to hang up and reboot. I bet your using a fake memory stick duo and your PSP is not stable. Please make sure that your memory stick is seagate supported. You can check that by simply going to your memory stick information. Your games are not deleted. The game is still on your memory stick, you just need to run again your chicken hen and your enabler. To permanently resolve this, you need to buy a genuine Sony memory stick dou and then run again your chicken hen and your enabler. You can access this link http://pspslimhacks.com to download your PSP chicken hen and enabler.

My PSP will only turn on without a disc in it then if I insert a disc and try and run it it will just turn off. Also I've tried running a small game from the memory stick but again the PSP will just turn...

Try hooking up just the ac adapter to the psp without the battery hooked up to it.

If the psp turns on then try to load a disc, if it doesn't shut down then the battery is bad, if it still shuts down then that means the main board is bad cause it can't handle the power coming from the umd drive.

MY PSP SAYS NO MEMEORY

See if you can format your memory stick first through your computer than you might be able to format after with your psp.

Also Where did you get your memory stick? Depending on where you bought it (if you bought it on-line) it might be a fake. I would contact the seller for a refund or replacement if that's the case.

I need to now how use my psp san disk and can get on websites

For you to surf the internet, your PSP has to have firmware 2.0 and above. to find out what firmware your PSP has:

1. Turn on the PSP.
2. Go to the "Settings" category (it's the one farthest to the left).
3. Scroll down to the "System Settings" icon and press x.
4. Scroll down to "System Information" and press x.
5. The screen will display the PSP's MAC Address, System Software Version, and Nickname. The
"System Software Version" is the firmware version.

If you have the 2.0 And above firmware heres how to get connected to the internet :

  1. Find a wireless access point. make sure you have the correct password as you will be asked to input it in order to connect to the WAP.
  2. Insert a Memory Stick. If you want to save any bookmarks while you're online, you'll need to have a Memory Stick to save them on. The same goes for any content you might want to download.
  3. Turn on the WLAN switch. You'll find this on the left side of the PSP, just above the Memory Stick slot.
  4. Set up the Network Settings. You'll find these under the "Settings" menu, right at the bottom of the list. Choose "Infrastructure Mode" and follow the instructions. Here's where you might need a password (see step 1).
  5. Open the Browser. Select "Network" from the home menu (it's the one farthest to the right). Scroll down and select "Internet Browser" (the icon has www on it). The PSP will connect and the browser will open (there will be a slight delay as this happens).
  6. Go to the Address Bar. If you don't see an address bar at the top of the browser, press the triangle button and it will appear. Navigate to the address bar using the up button on the d-pad. The address bar will light up.
  7. Surf away !
and in the case of you talking about San Disc. im guessing your asking how to insert and your Memory stick Duo? if so follow these steps :
  1. Open the slot cover for the Memory Stick Duo located on the left side of the PSP? system.
  2. With the printed side of the Memory Stick Duo facing out towards you, slide the Memory Stick Duo? into the slot in the direction of the arrow printed on the Memory Stick Duo.
  3. Press the Memory Stick Duo until fully inserted.
  4. Slide the slot cover back into its original position
Hope this helps !?
