The heating element in the fixing assembly (the hot rollers) has probably blown. It can also be caused by a faulty thermal sensor, or a circuit board, relay or DC Controller.
If you are not competant at repairing copiers, you should have a service technician fix this.
The error cannot be cleared until the cause of the fault has been rectified. This is a safety measure to prevent overheating problem and further damage. The technician must clear the error in 'Service Mode'
Hi, This code usually means that you have a fault in the heater circuit for the fixing assembly (Heated rollers) Either the heater element has blown, there is a fault with the Thermister, AC driver, DC power supply, DC Controller or the safety thermal fuse has opened. The DC controller locks the device for safety reasons, It indicates this error when the temperature sensor detects no change in the temperature of the fixing rollers after 30 - 40 seconds on turning on the heater circuit.
