Daewoo airconditioner not working

I am trying to install a second hand Daewoo DSB-120LH air conditioner but can't get the unit to turn on.
The indoor unit flashes two LED's 5 times ('ON' and 'AIR CLEAN' LED). What coult be the problem.
I have vacuumed the unit and re-gassed also leaned all filters

Tried resetting number of times, same flashing LED's though, I am sure they indicate some fault code, but do not know what?

Try reset power to the unit and see if that will take care of it.

Hi i have a Daewoo DSB 180LH air conditioner but the previous tenants have lost the remote control, what can i do?

Hi Cladia,

I had exactly the same problem! Fixed it by buying a Universal All In One Air Conditioner Remote. Tried a couple which didn't work, but finally found one which did - the Chunghop K-1028E. I purchased it online for $20 inc delivery to Australia.

Good Luck!

Regards,

Will.

Airconditioner not cold and then not turning on

If your unit is working sometime and no cooling means check compressor operation. If within few seconds, it shuts off. replace indoor sensor.

My airconditioner works for about 5 mins then stops and cant turn back on

First of all check your timer setting. Secondly, check your indoor coil sensor, may be weak, replace it.
Please clear one doubt that is your compressor working within that 5 minutes?

Is the unit in heating mode? If so, are the filters clean? Have the system repaired if you cannot fix the problem.
