Durabrand pdv-702 have a durabrand pdv 702 and within few months the thing went screwy open the door put in disc close door and it thinks the door is still open gota open the door then slowly close it til the click and it thinks its closed however if u close it. it says open again so open is open & close (tightly) is open i know its the switch just not sure how to solve it any ideas/suggestions is greatly appreciated

    I have a similar problem. Though it shows "No Disc" even after there is a disc inserted. It's like the sensor to tell it there is a disc is not working. This broke after the device was three months old and only used twice.

If it only fails on home made discs the problem lies in how they were burnt.

When I install a disk it reads no disk.

I have the same problem and I think the motor that spins the disk is too worn out to spin anymore

Need power cords and phone chargers

They are available on eBay for quite cheap, I just did a quick search and they can be had for under $10 including shipping. Depends on the exact model number of your unit, there wasn't a huge selection.

Durabrand DVD players are no longer supported because the company went out of business in November of 2007. Walmart was aware of this.

They have been exchanging them for equal or lesser value.
