No - it uses VGA 15-pin D-type connector according to the specs.

There might be signal issues from the source device; with intermittent problems, I recommend cleaning all the pins on both ends of the connectors and then removing and re-inserting the plugs a couple of times in hopes that it is a connection problem on one of the cable ends.

turn off the monitor and hold the menu button in while you turn it on. this will unlock it.

check if your compaq w17q power cable is properly connected to the AC adopter if not the change the power cable.

Hold the menu button in WHILE turning on the power. This toggles the state of teh OSD lock.

That power button internal switch has gone bad. They are usuallya rubber boot which presses 2 peices of foil together. Once it goes bad, it has to be replaced. No easy fix or temp solution.

Looks like a loose contact in the button assembly. You will just need to get the button assembly replaced. Can be done at any computer service shop.
