Question about Kenmore 45081 Front Load Washer / Dryer
Almost, I hope you put the tube back on. This goes on the pressure switch and the pressure switch determines when the tub is full according to the load size. I don't know what post you read, there's been so many. You have a couple of things to check here. First, make sure the hose going from the pressure switch to the tub is clear. Blow through it. If it's clear it's possible you have a faulty pressure switch. If that tube is not secure on the switch and the tub you will overflow. If the pressure switch is faulty, you can overflow too. I did indeed make sure the tube was back on but alas, still overflowing. Tube is clear also. So I need to replace the pressure switch? I also broke the door switch but I just put 2 popsicle sticks in it and screwed the ground wire down. Thus, bypassing the safety device. Is this bad for the board or will cause any problems down the road. Lastly, I had a heck of a time getting the thing apart. Is there a tool or an easier way than taking the whole thing apart from the back?
