I just got this yesterday. It's charged and the movie plays, but it constantly stops and starts...jerks off, forward a bit, then on again. What can I do to fix this.
"it constantly stops and starts"while you are in the car(DVD"s fitted in your car)? If so, fit it with a shockproof like rubber. If the dvd is not fitted in a car then check the lens.

The entire movie has not been recorded of the flash drive. There was not enough GB storage for the movie. Either use a flash drive with more capacity or record the movie on a DVD
believe it or not it is the norm and is more annoying in the 4 cyl --havent had it stall thought their a slush trans personally hate them also will act like slipping when trying to pass excessive revving the 6cyl happens less and the higher revving usually doesnt happen but in traffic may get the jerking also but GM constant states normal
1
Allow the movie to load completely, or at least halfway, before you start to watch it to stop video buffering.
2
Start the movie and then hit stop until the movie has fully or halfway loaded. As the movie is loading, you should see a yellow or gray line. The line you see will get longer as it loads.
3
Close all windows that you don't need. Having too many windows open will slow the loading process.
4
Resume play once the movie is at least halfway loaded or fully loaded. By this time, you should be able to enjoy the movie without the video buffering or constant starting and stopping.
My son's Magnavox Portable DVD does not seem to be functioning properly....It won't turn on, and when I plug it in, as if I was going to charge it, it blinks orange then green. So, it seems like there is a problem with it. Anyone experience the same problem?
There are a few things that may cause this to happen. First I would check your connections for your center channel speaker. in movies with 5.1 surround sound almost all the vocal tracks come out of the center channel.
Otherwise there maybe an issue with the volume levels for the center channel as well, these can normally be adjusted through the setup of your home theater system.
Get a DVD Laser Lens cleaner kit with a disc and fluid. Run the kits per instructions, This may help. If it doesnt your laser may need a mechanical or Electronic adjustment.
