I have a frigidaire electric stove model ES340. The stove is hard-wired into the wall, there is no plug on it. While pushing the stove back into place after cleaning behind it, I heard a pop and there was no power to the stove. I checked the circuit breaker downstairs and when I reset it, the stove makes a ''click'' sound and there is a brief flash on the display then nothing.
Turn off the power.
Remove the rear panel on the range.
Repair the broken wire at the wiring terminal.
Install a wiring strain clamp at the terminal block to prevent this from happening again.
If you have the wiring panel removed and can see the 3 wires attached to the stove, make sure they are all attached and not touching one another. Also look for a burned wire.
Get someone to turn on the power while you watch the range from the rear. See what sparks and let me know.
Yes you could have. That is why we did the last exercise.
Since there was no spark, try the burners and oven again.
Now you have narrowed down the problem. Your EOC (oven control) is what popped and is bad.
Sorry, but that is what has to be replaced.
Probably a coincidence when moving the range.
Thank you for the rating.
Your model number crosses with a whirlpool range.
Is it whirlpool or frigidaire?
I am trying to look up your part. Please double check the model number. It seems to be missing a number or letter.
Much better.
You will need part number WCI 316452304 for the clock.about $120.00
Possibly part number 316419304 also for the overlay.about $35.00

Hello - I would first suggest confirming that the range is plug to the proper voltage (120/240 Volts 40/50 Amp). Was there anything located behind the range before pushing it back? From what you have described it sounds like the control board will need diagnosing. Contact a professional to move forward accurately.

There aren't any visible broken wires in the back. What does the wiring strain clamp look like? The middle connection is affixed to a block thingy, so maybe that is it?
Ugh! I'm no good at this!!!!
I can't see any burnt wires but there isnt a lot of wire that is visible. All are attached and not touching any others so I'm stumped. Its been 2 days and I've got a meatloaf dinner that's itching to be cooked!
There isnt any spark in the back, but I can hear a small click that seems to be coming from the upper area of the stove. (?) When I was trying to shove it back into its place could I have jarred something else other that the wiring in back?
But there isnt any power at all. Its just a flash of a partial number/letter/character on the display but nothing else other that the little click
aww RATS!!! Well I now at least have a new starting point! Thanks so much for the help!
Its a frigidaire.
try model FEFLM66ESB? It is printed on the stove by the serial number.
