My phone will power up but after it gets a signal, it suddenly goes blank. if i then push a button, the screen comes back on but goes white, then it starts to power up again but takes a long time (almost seems like it is struggling). once it is ready, it then will go back again suddenly. however, in the short amount of time i have (a second or two), if i start accessing the address book or start making a call, its fine. i even had a 10 minute phone call, no problems. the second i hung up, it went black and shut down. i have charged it and it tells me there is a full charge. i did drop it once recently (didn't seem like a hard drop, in fact, it has taken more abuse before).

Have you tried holding down the power and volume down buttons simultaneously to do a reset? It normally takes 10-12 seconds before it reboots. The LG logo should appear, then release the buttons. The Power X has battery connection issues and will do random shut downs as well. If it's shown other symptoms like charging problems you will need to take it in for repairs.
Restart your phone by holding down your Home Button and your Lock Button at the same time for about 10 seconds or until you see the apple logo. This will restart your phone and should resolve your problem!
If a hard reset (press menu and center button together for 5 sec) and
software restore doesn't cure it , you have a broken
proximity sensor or a broken logic board. There is an iphone repair website that shows you how to do the replacement yourself and a third party iphone repair company that can do it for you.
There are 4 scenarios. The most afford part out of these scenarios starting at $215 to $850. My recommendation: A. use a repair tech. B. Buy a new TV cause there are knock out deal right now at circuit city(chapter 11)! solutiondoct
