Panasonic DVR-M53 electric Dvd Door Won't Open.

I recently Purchased This Camcorder On e-bay For A great price, The Only problem is the dvd door won't open. It Is Electric. My father-In-law Used To be A Electrician, and still knows a lot, but this is more complex than what he is used to. He's not sure what is wrong, but is sure he could fix it with a little help. If you Think of anything, let me know, thanks:)-Alicia Will You e-mail me at [email protected]

I had a rough time too until I realized that it will only work with a fully charged battery in the unit. Did yours come with the software disc and could you email the files to me? Thanks hope it works for you.

If u want download still picture only u can use usb. please reinstall software

Craftsman Garage Door Opener

I posted the following answer to a similar question posed by 'dodgeya' the other day.
I'm not sure how to direct you to that thread, so am re-copying my suggestion here...

>> Do you have the option to change the electronic codes on your garage door opener system? My father-in-law had the same problem a number of years ago. He had not reset the code (equivalent to the combination on a lock) from the equivalent of 0-0-0 (which his unit shipped with). Turned out that a neighbor (or neighbour - in Canada) had the same /similar unit and when the neighbor opened 'his' door, my father-in-law's door would also open. You don't have to see the person drive by - it can be the neighbors behind you as well. You may find a solution by determining if you can change the original electronic code to a different one of your own choosing.
Hope this helps.
