You have to take the front of the case off. Every case is different, there may be clips you have to push in to release the front or there may be screws. once the front is off look for the power switch and glue it back into the switch slot. originally it was probably glued in with hot glue.

It's either a broken battery or a broken powerswitch. More likely the motherboard / powerswitch. You should always try to replace a broken part yourself first. search model name plus "repair guide" on any search engine.They will show details about about part replacement etc. in detail. There are other websites that sell all the replacement parts, one of the bigger ones is http://portatronics.com (646) 797 2838. Then for the repair itself you can venture to do it yourself, or better ask a friend who has done a similar repair before.
u will find front pannel connection pins on mother board. its in 2 lines. in onle row there is one pin slot idle. next to that vacant pin slot u insert reset sw, next to it insert hdd led, behind hdd led insert power led, next to power led (behind reset sw) insert power sw. thats it done
Try reset the printer. Turn off powerswitch, press gobutton, turn on powerswitch while pressing gobutton. hold approx 15sec and release the button. The printer will reboot. Clean the cartridge contacts and HV pins in printer.
Reset printer, perform a NVRAM INIT
Turn off powerswitch- press and hold * and Menu/Enter on keypad of printer - While continue holding down buttons, turn on the powerswitch.. after a few moments it will begin to beep and say "perminante storage init" release the buttons and wait for the unit to re-initialize.
As always when perform a disc reset, you loose your settings.
