Powerswitch bay stuck!

The powerswitch etc bay was accidently pushed backwards, and now seems to be stuck behind the regular position? I dont know if this is a design flaw or there is something to slide it back etc :(

Thanks for the solution, was solved in the mean time via working it randomly and slowly forwards, eventually something clicked and didnt have to go too drastic!

You have to take the front of the case off. Every case is different, there may be clips you have to push in to release the front or there may be screws. once the front is off look for the power switch and glue it back into the switch slot. originally it was probably glued in with hot glue.

Htc hd7 keep rebooting

It's either a broken battery or a broken powerswitch. More likely the motherboard / powerswitch. You should always try to replace a broken part yourself first. search model name plus "repair guide" on any search engine. They will show details about about part replacement etc. in detail. There are other websites that sell all the replacement parts, one of the bigger ones is http://portatronics.com (646) 797 2838. Then for the repair itself you can venture to do it yourself, or better ask a friend who has done a similar repair before.

Here's the Support Link for your desktop. Look under User Guides, Hardware Reference. Also look on the motherboard for markings such as PW or PS and an indicator to where the wire goes.
