Hi I have an engenius codless phone and it seems to have switched itself to a Rotary phone setting. I cannot access my messages now and my phone only rings twice(not sure if the ringing is a separate problem). Please help.

I have a Serene CL-60AP phone. It receives calls but I can't get it to dial out. I hear it dialing like an old rotary phone but then the dial tone comes back.

You need to change the dialing mode to tone rather than pulse.

If you would like to know how to do this refer to page 26 of the instruction manual
50. DIALING MODE SETTING (TONE OR PULSE)
page 15 on the pdf file below
http://hearinglosshelp.com/store/wp-content/uploads/sites/2/2015/02/CL60Ausermanual.pdf

Depends on what your telephone exchange accepts as a dialing signal. Strange thing is phone is factory set to tone but it seems to sound like your phone is on pulse.

Is it possible to call out with this phone,it has an old fashion dial

I assumed your old-fashioned phone works in Pulse (Rotary) mode only. Maybe the Tel Company or the Private Tel Exchange in your house supports only DTMF (Dual-tone Multi frequency) or MF (Multi Freq.) tone.

Hi - There should be a switch on the phone somewhere that says pulse or tone. Set the phone to tone and things will be back to normal like you expect.
