It could be overheating.. Is it fairly consistent at 75 seconds? To test put the unit in the fridge for 30 minutes then quickly connect it up and test. If it is longer then 75 seconds then something is getting to hot. I've put hard drives (especially laptop ones) in the freezer if I need to copy off data but it clicks/stops working at room temp.
Before spend $$ on replacement boards, make sure anything attached to it is powered off. Unplug TV for 5mn to 15min. Plug back in and it should power on. If not leave unplugged overnight before spending on a replacement board. We have to do this 2-3 times per year when someone forgets to turn off auxiliary components (receiver, DVD, cable box, etc) first. It has always come back on.
Hi,
the unit is low on charge and has a refrigerant leak...
There are many reasons why a dehumidifier willnot work or collect water.
Here is a tip that I wrote to help people to figure out what is going wrongwith their dehumidifier
This sounds like a motherboard issue, but first! remove the hard drive to see if the Dell logo comes up, if no! swap out your ram one at a time to see if it will fire up, if no change, dis-connect all external drives and the internal dvd drive, if you still can't get any life, "suspect the motherboard"
Try holding down the STOP or FF>> button on the player to reset the unit while the power is on.if this does not work ...press the power off and eject disc immediately if that also does not work then;
Pull the power plug. THEN while unplugged hold in the on/off button (on the device) for 30 sec and plug it back in.

$20 NEW ~ Including shipping from Denver.
The ONE thing that does bother me about this Auction is the word "BEZEL"... is it just the BEZEL without the actual drive? Please MESSAGE the seller and ask!
Final note: Be VERY careful about DVD Drives that are listed as "NEW" (other) ... MOST times that decodes to USED!
