Question about Frigidaire FRT18B4A Top Freezer Refrigerator
The fridge turns on (power) light is on the compresor is on but the fan on the freezer is not powering on. i cleaned the fridge and may have got water on some of the parts i took the back panel off in the freezer when i cleaned it and the section that has the light and seting switch in the refrigirating area. i left it off for a week to dry off. when i turned it back on it would not cool at all. can you tell me why its not cooling the fridge or freezer at all ?
Try pressing light blub switch whist doors are open as fan will only start when doorsclosed. If compreesor is running but not chilling it is either the compreesor has gone and wont be pumping or it has lost its refigerant. Hope this helps

I hope someone reads this: My Frigidaire upright (FFU17), 3-years-old, stopped freezing. Light on, compressor running but no fan. Took everything out and spun the defrost timer a few times; still didn't work. Couldn't find a reset button. With no time to get it fixed before everything defrosted, I was ready to replace it immediately. Then I thought of one last trick; I gave it a severe beating with the palm of my hand -- the fan started. Thank you, Jesus.
