I cant reset my play cuse of a cracked screen

Very strange. I have never seen anything like that before!

Reset the television in Settings.

You have a picture, and televisions don't have video cards. If it is a computer, yes they do.

Software glitch, Firmware glitch, is my guess. Reset and get all the updates.

If all else fails - Try RESETTING the IPOD

Your tv screen has problems with the video mode
that has setted up on your ps3, hold the power button till hear two beeps, this will reset the video mode of the ps3, and leavse you at a screen to set up the video mode of the ps3.

Hi Guys.. try this out

1. Toggle the Hold switch on and off. (Slide it to Hold, then turn it off again.)
2. Press and hold the Menu and Center (Select) buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears, about 6 to 8 seconds. You may need to repeat this step.

The only solution for a cracked screen is to replace it, once the screen cracks the LCD is no longer good. If the player is still under warranty see if it's covered if not you can try to replace the screen yourself, but that is usually risky and the screen alone is going to be expensive, best advice is to replace the player and try to be more careful, sorry.

Screen cracked = out of luck - Philips does not sell replacement screens

You can get it replaced by Kodak for 80 dollars plus shipping, thats if it is not covered by warranty.
or
you could go onto ebay and purchase a replacement kit or screen for roughly 14 to 30 dollars. If you decide to go this path you should watch this installation video or have someone who's tech savy help you

Is the screen cracked? Just a small crack can cause problems. When the screen is cracked and you touch it, it touch's some where else on the screen. I cracked mine, and I just changed it. It's pretty easy, all you need is a small phillips screw driver. Good luck!

Ok. You have reset your device, there is a reset hole next to the DC-in hole. Then if it still not working then you have to ask for a new lcd screen/ lcd screen module. That means the LCD of your MP3 Player isn't working anymore. Good Luck
