I have a Arrow PowerShot 5700 staple gun. It not firing staples and is not jammed?

Question edited for clarity and add maker.
Question moved from Staples Business Depot to model category.

The 5700 has a Lifetime Warranty for as long as you own it. They will repair or replace.

How do you load staples into the Power Shot Model 5700M staple and nail gun? There is no manual in the package despite direction on the side of the gun to read it!

I have owned a Black & Decker Powershot before. Throw it away. They are **** . Stick with a Arrow or Craftsman. I didn't like the Black & Decker and gave it to a friend that was looking for a staple gun. He threw it away ! Worst excuse for a staple gun I've ever seen. Awkward to use and preforms on a scale of 1 to 10 , doesn't even hit 1 !

Arrow HT50P Hammer Tacker. I need a parts schematic for it please?

Question edited for clarity. It is a 'Hammer Tacker' rather than a 'stapler'.

Just send it back under their 'Limited Lifetime Warranty.

What size staples does the B&G Powershot staple gun use? I bought a refill pack 3/8" & 5/16" long. They fit but the shank when pulled out and loaded with staples won't close. Thank you. Julia Carr

Hi Julia,

You have the right size staples. The problem is the length of the refills. Some staplers can't accommodate a full length clip.

Break the staple refill clip in half, then insert it. The shank will be able to close and latch that way.

Best regards
Mike
