Playlist menu doesn´t work

Menu-Audio player--Playlists-Create playlist--Now create playlist as you want-Now select same playlist which you have created-Options-Add-Now if you want to add single song, please click on song name and song will be added-if you want to add multiple song, then select "Multi" option from left side of the bottom-Mark the multi songs -Now press "Done" from left side of the bottom-Now select the first option of "Play" to play songs of playlist.

Try to delete and add again the music files you have in your memory card. Then create a new playlist.
To create a playlist: 1. In Menu mode, select Music player ? Playlists. 2. Press ? Create playlist. 3. Enter a title for your new playlist and press . 4. Select the new playlist. 5. Press ? Add ? Tracks. 6. Select the files you want to include and press .

To customise your music player settings Learn to adjust the playback and sound settings for your music player. 1. In Menu mode, select Music player. 2. Press ? Player settings. 3. Adjust the settings to customise your music player. 4. Press .

The only way to add playlists on this unit is to use your PC software to create them and then add to the unit later. you cannot create a playlist on the player itself.

you can use any music software to create and add. for instance, If you are using Sonys own Soundstage, follow these instructions:

Click "My Library"

Click "create/edit PLaylist"

Select the tracks you want from content shown on left. ( to select multiple tracks at once, hold CTRL key)

Select the "New Playlist" on right

The new playlist will be created. you can rename it now

click on large arrow pointing left

Now just import this folder to your player

you are done.

How to make a Playlist --- Listen to the song you want to add to a Playlist. While the song is playing, press & HOLD the [MENU] button for a couple of seconds. Another screen will appear with the following options. 1. Music Playback -- Normal / Random 2. Select EQ 3. Lyric Display -- Enable / Off 4. Add to MyList 5. Delete the File Move to #4 and press the [SELECT] button. Playlists will appear. Choose which one you want to add songs to and press the [SELECT] button. A check-mark will appear, meaning song has been added to PlayList. Press [MENU] button to get out. To DELETE songs from PlayList --- Go to options list when you first enter Music file and scroll down to 'My Music List'. Press [SELECT] button, Highlight the PlayList you want to delete songs from and press [SELECT] button. Creating a playlist on your computer is an easy way to organize your music. Playlists allow you to organize music by different artists or different genres. More advanced playlists can even sort your music based on when it was added or how often you play a particular song. Creating a playlist is an easy task regardless of the media player you use to play your music.



Determine what songs you would like to add to your playlist.


Create a new playlist in your media player. Depending on your media player, this step will vary. There is usually a "Create Playlist" button that you can click to create a new playlist. In iTunes, this button is on the bottom lower left corner. In Winamp, click the "View" menu and select "Playlist Editor".


Select the songs that you want in your playlist from a new Windows Explorer window. If you are using a Macintosh computer, select the songs from a new Finder window. You can hold down CTRL to select multiple tracks. Drag and drop these selected songs into the new playlist you have just created.


Save the playlist you have just created. Most media players have a "Save Playlist" button. Other media players such as iTunes will automatically save the playlist for you when you first create it. In Winamp, click the "Manage Playlist" button in the bottom right corner. In the following context menu, click "Save Playlist". Name the playlist whatever you want and then choose where you want it to be saved.

Make sure that you back your music up first because when you do this you are setting it back to factory settings. then us: If you have a large playlist to transfer, you may prefer to do it from your media player, such as Windows Media Player. Once your MP3 player is connected to the computer, open Windows Media Player. Click on the "Sync Music" tab. Drag songs that you want from your Windows Media Library over to the "Sync Music" column to create a playlist. Click the "Begin Sync" tab at the bottom once you have all of the songs on your playlist. This action will sync all of the songs to your MP3 player with one click. • Creating playlists for Creative Zen MP3 player

1. Step 1 Turn your Creative Zen MP3 Player on and add music to its hard drive if you haven't already. Without music on your player, you won’t be able to select tracks for a playlist.
   
2. Step 2 Select "Music Library" from the Main Menu. The Main Menu should appear as the first menu when you turn your device on.
   
3. Step 3 Select "Now Playing" from the options available, then press the Options button.

Creating Playlist
To create a playlist for Windows Media Player, follow these steps:
1. Launch Windows Media Player.
2. Clear the List pane by clicking the Clear List pane button.
3. Click the arrow below the Library Tab then select Create Playlist.
4. Type in the name of your Playlist.

5. Click Songs from Library then drag them from the Details pane to the List

6. To rearrange the songs, drag them up or down in the List pane.
7. Click Save Playlist.
Transferring Playlists
To transfer playlists to your Sansa player, follow these steps:
1. Connect your Sansa player to the computer.
2. Select Sync digital media files to this devices using Windows Media
Player on initial connection.
3. Right-click on Your Sansa Player, then select Set Up Sync.

4. Select Personal Playlists from the drop down menu on the left pane.
5. Highlight the playlists you want to transfer to your Sansa player, click Add,
then Finish.
6. Synchronization will start as soon as you click Finish. To see the Sync
progress, click on Sync Results.

I tried some suggestions posted here, and after some testing, I can now give you step-by-step instructions to create a playlist on your Creative Zen.

First, you need to think of the NOW PLAYING list as the "selected songs to be added to a playlist".

So, to start clean, let's empty out the NOW PLAYING list as follows:
1) from the MUSIC menu, select NOW PLAYING
2) when a song is shown on-screen, click the context menu
3) select REMOVE ...
4) select REMOVE ALL
Now, the NOW PLAYING list is empty.

Now, you need to select (mark) the songs you want to add to your new playlist:
1) go to an individual song
2) click the context menu, and select ADD TO SELECTED
3) go to another desired song, and do step 2) again
4) repeat until done

Now, to create a NEW playlist, go to the MUSIC menu, then:
1) select NOW PLAYING
2) it will show you the first song that you selected
3) press the Right button, to scroll through all of the other songs you selected
4) when any song is shown on-screen, click the context menu
5) select SAVE AS PLAYLIST (this refers to ALL songs in your NOW PLAYING list)
6) type the name for your new playlist, and click checkmark
ALL of the songs in the NOW PLAYING list are now saved as your New playlist.

From the MUSIC menu, select PLAYLISTS. You will see the name of the playlist that you just created. When you select that playlist, you will see the list of songs you had selected.

Please note that these songs are still in your NOW PLAYING list also. To create a another New playlist, you will first need to empty out the NOW PLAYING list as you did above.
