I have a DVD & a VCR hooked up to our Sanyo Model DS27820. Our company played with the Tv trying to get a DVD to work, but now we have a blue screen with Video 2 on it . The remote will not work and when I press Menu on the Tv the Audio,-Inital Channel,-Antenna,- Ch Search,- & Ch Scan Memory are all in red and I cannot get to them to see what is on them or to unlock it. The rest of the commands are in green. All the connections seem to be in the correct order on the back of the TV. How do I correct this problem? Reset twice on the remote does not work.

Universal remote alway work only the basic for the tv.Beyond that will have problems or stuck in some input or modes.Sorry i can't help u, because i don't know what is the reaction to ur tv by the universal remote, must use the universal remote again tries all the buttons like video modes or input botton.Or take the battery out like 20 mins of the universal remote to erase ur tv codes enter it again.Tries those buttons u pushes before, see if u can get out the video mode. All else fail.Try website like Remotes.com to buy the tv original remote to use.
good day , what button can you see infront of your TV screen?
Not familiar with this model but if you'll manage to locate a button marked as "TV/AV" or "AV" press this button until it the display switch to A/V mode (audio/video). Or if this is a really old model, from Tuner mode or channel model. set the channel station to 1 then press the " - channel " button and see if it will change from tuner mode to A/V mode
Go to Radio Shack and get an universal remote control, i have a Phillips Universal for mine. it has a tv/vcr button that also is an "input" button to switch channels to do this.
The simpliest solution is always the best - I called the cable service provider; they reported an outage and quickly remedied the situation - but also tried to sell me their digital TV package. Thanks for your response.
some tv's default to channel 2 after being unplugged.since it is a older tv ,the buttons on the remote and the tv maybe worn down.on the tv itself try pushing the buttons down a liitle harder. if you have aux or line in/video inputs, scroll down on the channel button to log into a aux channel for the dvd player.as for the remote try buying a cheap universal remote to see if that works.
good luck

Yippie, I figured out a solution that worked!!! I have a univeral remote from comcast, on that remote near the bottom left is a small button that says (input) tv/vcr, press that one time and whala!! the tv video screen was gone, I had to manually change the channel from the tv channel button on the unit. once I changed the channel to 3, my universal remote worked... the button is the second one from the bottom left... I was on hold with sanyo for a long time and just kept trying on my own, so good luck!!!!
I went to add/delete channels in my menu on my symphonic and it let me scroll through the channels, make sure you have them all set to add (by pushing the volume buttons to make them light blue instead of purple)....after adding all of your channels (or just the one if you use dish) just power the tv off while on a channel and then power back on and you should have tv.
