Stand by Ordered new power supply, plugged it in and the standby light is on. TV will not turn on.

Same here, i unplug it and plug it back in and it works a few times.

I have a Insignia NS-L32Q-10A that will not power on. Now power on light or standby. I have replaced the power supply already. All caps look good and fuses check OK. What next???
ok, when you plug in the set, does the power light come on? Assuming you ordered a power supply in good working order, you may very well have a faulty main board. The power supply produces standby power that the main board uses to power the standby/power on light. Your main board also uses the standby power to provide the "ON" signal to turn on the rest of the power supply.

Every set has a standby power supply that runs 7/24 when set is plugged in---it means in this case a main power board or something associated with that is not working, Set is not making it from just standby to full on.

I have one of the above TV's and it simply will not turn on. There is no power getting to the TV, the lead is fine as it works with a seperate TV, but the stand by light will not turn on.
when you plug it in do you have a standby light on the tv if you have a standby light but no power then you either need to replace caps in the power board or a new power board

My 40' vivo tv has turned off and won't turn back on but the red stand by light is on??
If the standby light is on and it does not respond, it is most likely to be a problem with the power supply . First try this, unplug and leave the set like that for a few hours. Then plug it back in to see if the tv attempts to turn on when you try to power it up. See if you hear a "click" even if it goes back to standby. Let me know what you found so that I can help you test the power supply board to confirm, if necessary.

My Dell w4200hd will not turn on. The color on the little light by the power on/off switch will change from what I think is standby color to a different color when I try and turn it on, and I hear...
i do have the power supply at my shop. but i don't think the power supply is the problem. i already replaced the power supply on this set with this symtom and no help. you can find parts at discountmerchants.com J.D.W.

Power loss
Try unplugging and then plugging the TV back in. If you can now turn it back on then you have a bad main board. If this does not make any difference then you have a bad power board. Hope this helps.
