No picture on view screen of my ixus 400 cannon

I cannot view the image and it was just black at all.the view finder is just dark.. what was wrong of my camera?

The problem in your unit is the optical unit, you need a new one. Afeter replacement of this unit it needs to be adjust using special equipment and software.
