When i turn on my samsung camera, all that shows is a white screen.
I hook it to the tv or computer, and the viewfinder and all functions work. I can still take pictures and see what's going on (only when hooked to another device)

There seems to be two separate issues here. I'm going to assume you have a charged battery pack in the camera.
First, the screen. Turn the camera on. Do you see the menu when you press the MENU button? Does the shooting info show when you press the Info button? Can you see previously taken photos when you press the Playback button? If none of those show up then something is wrong with the screen (or the battery is dead).
Second, the viewfinder. First, make sure the viewfinder in the back is clean. Now turn the camera on and look through the viewfinder. Do you see the eleven focus marks? Do you see the info at the bottom? Now turn the camera off and remove the lens. Don't touch anything inside the camera! Do you see a mirror at a 45-degree angle? Is it clean? Look at the focusing screen above the mirror. Is it clean? Now look through the viewfinder and point the camera out a window. Do you see a more-or-less white blob, or the same grainy dark film?
Click the "disp" button. The display of the camera has been turned off in the LCD screen but you can still use the viewfinder, this functionality is just for those who prefer to use the viewfinder instead of the LCD screen.
When you disconnected the camera from the computer, did you remember to use the "safely remove hardware" function? If not, you may need to reset the camera. If you can get into the camera menu, just scroll to find "reset" and follow the instructions. If you can't, try this. Remove the card and battery...press all the buttons...leave it alone for 20 minutes...insert the card and then the battery...turn it on.
Turn the camera on. With the screen showing, press the DISP button and this will give you a selection of different screen views i.e. squares for aligning shot squarely; black - thru viewfinder only; etc. Different modes will give you different screen displays i.e. P setting screens are different to when you have the camera set on AUTO.
Hi When the LCD screen is open the viewfinder will switch of and when it is closed the viewfinder will switch on. You can switch between the two by pressing Monitor select button to the left of the Eyepiece (Viewfinder). as you look at the back of the camera.
sounds like the LCD screen viewfinder may have been twisted or accidentally catched or got hooked or snagged on on something at one stage and pulled something, if the screen went yellow it means the three wires going to it are possibly broken or the small white clip was slowly coming undone inside the Viewfinder for the red and green to no longer work to complete the image also indicates why the buttons on the viewfinder are not responding, try twisting the viewfinder very lightly whilst on, but most likely the small white clip holding the wires has come off at the elbow inside the camera
