Sorry. It is broken. The lens was most likely jammed on start up when trying to open or close when shutting down. The really bad news is that the cost to repair it is close to the cost of a new camera. (I have had several like this, casio, sony canon, nikon and olympus.)

I have a Casio Exilim Zoom EX-Z80 Digital Camera. And my promblem is that once i zoom out everything is blurry. The whole picture is blurry but once I zoom out it is a bit better but not as much. I need...

Try cleaning the lens gently with a lens cloth or maybe a damp paper towel? Other than that - you may have something stuck in your lens that is making everything blurry when you zooom in...or the lens may need to be replaced to be fully functional. Do you notice any blurry spots when you zoom out that get bigger when you zoom in? If so something may be stuck in your lens. Good luck!

Zoom lens stuck at extended position

If the lens is stuck then you can try to rotate it manually a little bit but do not apply force this may damage the lens or else it will be better to take the cam to any shop it is 5 min job.

Why doesn't f2.8 show depth of field?

Yes. But the operative word is "bit." Because of the small sensor size of the P90, you have a short lens. Zoomed all the way out, it's 4.6mm. A 4.6mm lens is going to give you quite a bit of depth-of-field, no matter what aperture you use. Even zoomed in, it's 110.4mm.

Compact cameras simply can't give you narrow depth of field. Not without altering the laws of physics.

Hi i turn the camera on and have a blurry screen

Zoom motor in lens assembly is jammed and you need to replace complete lens assembly. DSC-T1 is an old camera so oes not worth to repair.

18-55mm lens won't zoom

DON'T TRY TO FIX THIS YOURSELF! You will only add to the damage. If your lens is in warranty, contact Nikon for instructions to get it repaired. If it is out of warranty, I would either pay Nikon for the repair or take it to a camera repair man.

Zoom lens is "locked"

Is there a little lock switch on the lens?? My Nikon lens all have a tiny little lock and if it accidentally gets pushed into lock position it will not zoom. Barry Brown www.coralreefphotos.com

Finepix A400

If the "!ZOOM ERROR" message is displayed on the digital camera, switch the camera off and on again 2 or 3 times.
If this does not clear the error, take the camera to your nearest FUJIFILM Service Station for testing and repairs. Problem may caused by lens zooming gears stuck.
