I turn power on...all lights come on but thats it. I really like the CDX but I'm always having a problem. I've got three and only one works right. That's alot of money and that's pretty sad.

Hmm, that is rather strange. Have you moved the unit recently, or took it to a gig? Might have received a power surge or similar, which might have caused it to freak out. Not much you can do, but you might want to contact Numark (in Rhode Island - 401.658.3131) to obtain instructions on resetting the unit - might work, might not work. This generally involves either turning off the unit and pressing a series of buttons on the unit, downloading a small file, or obtaining a CD from the manufacturer. Numark's tech support is pretty decent, but they don't go too in-depth. If the resetting does not work, then you obviously have a more serious issue, and will need to have a service tech take a look at it. Might be a blown Resistor or Capacitor. Sorry, there isn't much more you could really do. Good Luck!

Same thing happened to me. Annoying! And mine was used. First the CD would load, got that fixed. Now it just lights on, that's it. Put a cd in and it spits it back out. I'm done with CDX's, although I do want this one to work cuz I don't have the $$$ to buy a new one or invest in a repair and I need it!

I Had the same problem wuth my cdx all the lights came on and stayed on.it stayed stuck like that and I had to send it back to get it repaired.Since I no longer was under warranty with numark I had To pony up(Get ready For bad news)$270 bucks. But The Good news is I sent it to T.S.I Repair Industries And They are a very good company.my cdx is working really good for now at least.I would suggest any body who owns a cdx to get an extended warranty because believe me you will need it.

Sounds like the bulbs shorted out the smart board, this happens sometimes when folks change the bulbs without up-plugging the oven.

Does not power stay on

try this with just the ac plugged in and the battery removed. Sometimes the battery, when fully discharged, can cause the system to shut down.

Unsure of problem

check to see if the problem is overheating by storing it in a plastic bag in a refrigerator for 1/2 hour then power it up immediately. Don't let it stay out without power or let it dry as moisture will condense on it. If it stays on longer after cooling something is causing overheating., if not the problem is probably an intermittant short. If you can open it up and spray the components individually with freeze spray, this may isolate the problem. Sometimes pc boards warp under temperature changes and cause intermittant problems, sometimes it's a semiconductor.

Mitsubishi 55" RPTV - Pictures goes out, sound stays on after on for some time

Sounds very typical of a component failing after heating up for a bit. Often in the Power Supply or Horizontal Output section, WE find the offending component(s) usually by using a can "Freeze Spray" and spraying suspected compnents when the problem stops thats ya faulty one... replace it/them and usually thats it. But if ya no good at doing it yourself.. then it's off to the shop... Generally because of ther size these beasts cost a bit to fix.. If ya have to take this route, ensure ya get a firm "Quote" AND an explanation of whats what. G L. Oh and offer to take it to the Shop, this will.should save ya some $$'s
