With the use of remote or Panel button, it goes on for 5 seconds and then off. Took off the top and noticed that during the short on cycle, the fan does not come on. Unit has worked great for 2 years, now this problem. Any suggestions.
Took my Yamaha HTR 5790 to a repair shop for an estimate to repair. Cost me $50 for estimate to be applied to repair. It needed two circuit boards replaced at a cost of $390.00. SOLUTION... they kept my $50 and I bought a new AV Receiver that WAS NOT a Yamaha.
