NEC monitor drvier please !!

Hello,

This is normally caused when the monitor does not support the screen resolution the computer is set to. Change the screen resolution and see if that helps. Also, consider updating your graphics driver too.

You said "two dark smudges on monitor screen".

Asumming that these smudges are digital and not just something tata you can remove with cleaner, If your moniter is back-projecting then the issue is probably that the projector has been damaged.

If your monitor is a flat-screen then the gels inside of it are misplaced from somone touching and damaging your screen.

So basically, the only practical thing you can do is buy a new monitor.

try updating the latest driver for your video and bios. try connecting your laptop to external monitor
if both of this didnt solve your problem, i suspected you lcd screen is faulty and need to replace.

You have to install the nec driver for this monitor. I have the same monitor. Im looking for the driver now. There are 2 versions of this monitor with the same model # . You will need to find the driver to the touchscreen model.
