To open TCP ports use these steps below:::

To create an application profile for 4.x and higher:

  1. Open a Web browser and access the gateway user interface by entering http://gateway.2wire.net
  2. Click the Firewall tab -> Firewall Settings link -> Edit Firewall Settings page.
  3. Click Add a new user-defined application in the Application panel to open the Edit Application page.
  4. Enter an application profile name in the Application Name field. It is recommended that you use the name of the application (for example, GEars of War).
  5. Create your application definition in the Definition panel. A definition consists of a series of protocol-specific ports that are to be allowed through the firewall. You can find this information in the documentation provided by your the company that produces the application.
  6. Select the TCP or UDP button in the Protocol field. If the application you are adding requires both protocols, you must create a separate definition for each.
  7. Enter the port or port range the application uses in the Port (or Range) field. For example, some applications require only one port to be opened (such as TCP port 500); others require that all TCP ports from 600 to 1000 be opened.
  8. Optionally, enter a timeout value in the Protocol Timeout (seconds) field for the amount of time that can pass before the application “times out.” The default values are 86,400 seconds for the TCP protocol, 600 seconds for the UDP protocol.
  9. Enter a value in the Map to Host Port field that maps the port range you established in the above step to the local computer. For example, if you set the value to 4000 and the range being opened is 100 to 108, the forwarded data to the first value in the range will be sent to 4000. Subsequent ports will be mapped accordingly; 101 will be sent to 4001, 102 will be sent to 4002, and so forth.
  10. Select the application type from the Application Type drop-down list. If you do not know the application type, select None (Default).
  11. Click Add Definition to the profile definition list.
  12. Click Done.
  13. Repeat steps 1 through 12 for each port or range of ports required for the application profile.

SOURCE: DWL-G710 - Not able to logon with standard IP-adress 192.168.0.30

Must have same IP-adress on Router and Repeater 192.168.0.x. Then have cable from router to PC and from router to repeater. Then logon to repeater and the Dlink-repeater SW have a command where you can see available networks. See to that you choose the right one and that channel, name and password is the same as the router. The repeater will not be visible when you search for available networks because it has the same name as the router. I also had to restart the router and the repeater before it worked.
The repeater gives us excellent connection where we otherwise has no connection, so I can recommend it.

SOURCE: HP LaserJet P2015n Printer IP adress

To Me it looks like your printer is set to automatically select an available IP address. If there is no IP available you get the 0:0:0:0 You need a static IP set up for the printer, this will make sure that no one can use the IP. If this is a company printer, get IT to set it up for you. If its your home network you can set this by yourself by either connecting your printer via usb and using the software from HP or if you have an IP you can log into your PC by entering the IP address in the address bar of your browser. You should get the HP page up for your printer. Set the IP from there in the networking section. I hope this helps a little

SOURCE: Revised IP address for Ricoh 2020d

Go to user tools counter. Go to settings. Go to interface. You should see the IP address settings window. Some Ricohs have auto DHCP. Usually I turn that on to get it to recognize your router. Make sure your gateway address is inserted as well.

Bought a used OCE TDS 400 scan print unit and it worked fine.

Take it back to the IT guy and ask him to fix it properly. The 'motherboard bad' was a guess which was incorrect.

It is an industrial machine and needs Canon Technical Support and Service.

OCE TDS 400

A service operator password will do you no good. The unit needs a cleaning, not a password. Call an authorized Canon/Oce technician for parts and service.

Having the software will do you no good. You need an authorized service technician to load it and configure it, and hopefully restore the old settings if there is a backup.
