Question about Kenmore 98702 Stacked Washer/Dryer
I just bought this used, and he did not have a manual. Would you happen to have one? I had it set for 40 min, and switched the start button, but it would not start? The dryer started after clicking down, on it's own for some reason. Now, I tried to dry some more clothes and nothing is happening, it just makes a clicking sound, like a minet timer. Thank you for any help.
its sounds like you have a broken belt or a bad door swith open the door rotate the drum manually if it feels verry easy to turn that means your belt is broken if not you can check the wires then replace the door switck thanks from gilles

SOURCE: Dryer Won't Start
Make sure it has power. Then:Check the door switch.
A little lever sticking down through top right of door opening. If it is
not there you will need new door switch(sometimes the little lever
breaks off). If it is there and does not click when you press it in you
need a new door switch. if it clicks when you close the door
then you have a bad thermal fuse. The thermal fuse is found by taking
the back of the dryer off. The fuse is an oblong white plastic piece
with 2 wires attached.
Door switch part number 3406109
Thermal fuse part number 3392519
