One possible solution would be to use an RF Modulator. This will convert the composite (red white and yellow jacks) output from your player to channel 3 or 4 on your tv. Try radio shack or any store that sells electronics to find one. Follow the instructions that come with the RF Modulator.

You might try substituting a new fuse. Be sure the replacement has the same rating.
You may have a short in your power supply and depending on the type of supply the supply may not start up if it has overload protection.
