Sounds like you need to take the grinder apart as in the manual and clean it due to a stone or other foriegn object in it. It may also need an adjustment as it may have loosened up and be slack now. The other potential problem is your beans are to oily or to big.

You can try to remove all beens, then with the use of paint brush and vacum cleaner try to clean the grinding entry and gringing burrs. If
this not help then you need to revove top cover panel and so you can clean grindr more closer, check also the burrs they might need to be replaced.

On a magic comfort it has two settings for adjusting the espresso shot besides the amount of the shot. .
On a magic comfort plus, you can adjust the grind size, the amount used for the shot, preinfusion (a short shot of hot water on the grinds before the unit passes all the water through the puck (coffee grinds), temperature and amount of water for shot
Also, when setting the strength on this machine, don't use a full grind amount as it can jam the machine. use a setting of 6 or 7 max for strong shots, not the 8 or 9 setting!!!
I have had this problem with our coffee machine as well some how the machine has sucked air into the system and needs to get it out.
To ventilate the machine turn the dial on top of the 'magic comfort' sign (the one for the froth) and place a glass underneath. Keep the dial turned till the sign ventilate goes away then close the dial.
