Question about NTL D6000 Cordless Phone

Ntl d1102 i have 3 ntl cordless phones and a base station i have somehow seemed to have switched them from digital to analogue so when i dial it now sounds like it is going through an old fashioned telephone exchange. Also when i dial any companies etc and the message is press1 for this or press2 for that etc i can no longer do this!!! think i need to get them back to factory settings but have lost the manual....help !!!!!

If you have no dial tone the problem is most likely the base station has failed, nothing you can do will kill the dial tone (no button you pushed etc.) except a failed base station.

Phone #2stoped ringing, no sound when dialing etc .

go back to that base station and ensure that it recognizes the bedroom phone
follow the user manual to install other phones
the bedroom phone has to be the same exactly and not earlier versions or different makes

HAND SET SAYS SEARCHING

That indicates that the phone is not synced with the base station. Try putting it next to the base station and resetting. Here are some links that may help:

Maybe trying to pair the handset with the base station will solve your problem. Look in the manual how the pairing procedure is done for your phone.

If the pairing procedure is done, and the handset finds the base station and there's stil no dial tone, check if the cable from the telephone line is plugged in the base station of the phone and check if the other side of the cable is plugged in the wall phone outlet.

I have uniden dxa1850 series phone. It was working fine, but now I can't get a dial tone. I tried the basic fix of unplugging and removing but it still does not work

Check that you have power (eg. Led indicator is on) to your Base station.

If you have power to the base station and you still do not have a dial tone, plug in a non-cordless handset to the phone socket and see if you have a dial tone on yor non-cordless handset, then you have a faulty base station.

Just press top left (R/<-) button about 3 sec. and a letter changes (p - pulse or t - tone).

I can hear, but not talk, on my ATS RA2184BB cordless phone.

Have you tried unplugging your base station and all the handsets?

Sometimes the base station, where the power and the telephone line plugs into needs a reset. Just like a computer sometimes it needs a reboot.

If problem presists, take a regular analog phone and plug it in to the same jack as the cordless phone bas station, and see if it is a cable issue/ telephone company issue.

If your system was working fine, and it all of a sudden started doing this, it sounds like your base has taken a surge of some kind. Your base needs replacing. You can try re-registering the handsets, but from my experience the problem is fatal. Now if this is a new installation and the handsets never work yet on the base, you just need to register them. Cordless phones will not connect to base.

I just had the same problem and tried several things with no results. Then, I figured I had tried everything else so I just unplugged the battery pack, set the phone down for 25 minutes and then plugged the pack back in. Phone worked again after that.
