Hello!
I have a user who's running Adobe Standard 8 who has lost his ability to print PDF files portrait style. They all come out landscape. A regular printout comes out on two sheets of paper split down the middle. This didn't used to happen and he swears he hasn't made any changes to the pc, run any updates etc. I'm stumped! I was going to try to download a Post Script driver for his printer but the HP page for what I need is unavailable. Is it worth waiting for HP to fix that page or do you think I have a different problem?
So far we have printed to different models of printers through out the company and we keep getting the same result. I really don't know what to do next. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
Melissa
Same with me. Just started today. Any physical printer I print to (Lexmark, HP, Xerox) networked or local, no matter what swettings for the document and/or printer preferences, it comes out LANDSCAPE!!!! Aaghhh! Very frustrating. The only way around it was to print to Micrsoft Document Imaging (MDI file). That prints portrait! And MDI to printer is ok.

Found it! The problem was that Adobe was set to print with page scaling set to Tile. Even though you see the preview as portrait (with page setup AND printer setup also in portrait), for Tile, it prints in landscape.
In the properties of printer, is it set to portrait?
Could this help_
