I missed the power cable for CLT2054 and I dont know its still working or not. I did checked online for the pricing
Is there any alternate solutions that I can modify the power input to the TV please help me ASAP.
I found an AC adapter for the Sanyo CLT2054 on ebay that works GREAT!! The ebay dealer is cenyglobal, specify "Sanyo-Right-4Pin-12V5A" AC Adapter. Price is ONLY $14.99 + $4.99 shipping.
The problem is that the CLT2054 TV has "2" different power plug hookups. When you look at the 4-pin connector with the flat side UP, for my TV, 12V is on the RIGHT 2 pins. On the other versions12V is on the TOP 2 pins.

Re: I have a CLT2054 but i missed the power cable
I bought one on Ebay and it didn't work because the one they sale on Ebay has a reverse polarity, try fixing this, cut the output wire, the one leading to your TV, then reverse the connection, white to un-shielded wire and do the same on the remaining wire.

sounds a lot like you lost the video driver or control board functionality. From the 'decay' of your image, with sound still working, and all else being good, you're primed for a new video controller. Are you inclined to do the repair yourself? The service manuals are hard to get online, but the local service center MIGHT sell you one.
go to radio shack get a 12 volt 1500ma power supply with I belive it is a N% plug end but any how 800 ma to 1500 ma should run this and the plug end is standard plug with plus 12 volts on the inner side and negitive on the outer case side look at the back of the TV or the old power supply it sould have info on voltags and amprage, and the plug as to inner voltage and outer voltage on the plug any old time radio shack or electronics shop should be able to help you bring in the flat screen if need be as if you know its 12 volts then It wont mater weather you use a 1000ma 1500ma 12 volt ubnaversale power pack as the tv will only use the current needed so more MA is good the only concrn you have is the right mini barrle plug and the right side of +/- voltage on that mini plug being most use + voltage in the inner most circle and - 12 volts on thje outer
you can use the inverter, however you may want to filter the AC input to the adapter, I made my own adapter for use when camping and no longer use the AC Adapter supplied.... With the inverter, you may have fading and flickering problems in the long run. Contact me for more information
