As you will see below, there are no drivers for Vista as this cam is discontinued, but trying other windows drivers is worth a go before you throw it. http://www.camera-drivers.com/companies/1734.htm

Veo Advanced Connect Personal Web Camera

Hi

It seems VEO went out of business or their site has been hacked. (Their site - http://www.veoproducts.com/ is now a weird search engine).

It is hard to come by the drivers now, but a Nero Image and ISO Image is hosted here

Nero Image - http://www.nztechie.com/downloads/ISO/VeoInstallCD.nrg
ISO Image - http://www.nztechie.com/downloads/ISO/VeoInstallCD.iso
NB: About 154MB

The install CD claims compatibility with Windows 98/ME/2000/XP. It should be compatible with Windows Vista when compatibility mode is used.

Veo webcam compatability with windows vista

Hi

The general install procedure for USB devices is to install the drivers/software first then connect the device. The PC should then detect and initialize the device.

I however recommend you check and follow manufacture's guidance/steps.

If you don't have the drivers/softwrae, download the drivers/software from the link below.

Nero Image - http://www.nztechie.com/downloads/ISO/VeoInstallCD.nrg
ISO Image - http://www.nztechie.com/downloads/ISO/VeoInstallCD.iso
NB: About 154MB. You need to extract the CD Image file or burn it to CD using appropriate software.

The install CD claims compatibility with Windows 98/ME/2000/XP. It should be compatible with Windows Vista when compatibility mode is used.
