I have an mmats pro audio car amplifier model d800.2, the problem is whenever i power it up it powers up and goes into thermal protection. can you tell me if it is a fried cap or something

i believe your amp is 2ohm stable so be sure your speaker are wired for a 2ohm load or higher anything below 2ohm would throw the amp into protect

I got 2 pcs of kicker 12L7, one is 2ohm and the other is 4ohm DVC. in there any chance i can run them together with one amplifier? i got a venom VD2600S and venom 1600.D, will it be ok if i use each...

Run the amp in stero Run the 2ohm to one chanel, Wire the dvc 4ohm to run 2ohm + to + - to - to the other chanel and you should be fine.
If you had a 1ohm stable amp you could run both speakers wired 2ohm to a mono amp and have a 1ohm set up and double the power!

Im looking at a ssl fy1402 1400 watt amp 375rmsX2 at 2ohm and it is 2ohm stable. I'm getting a cvt12 kicker that is 400rms 2ohm will this amp be good for 2 kickers

Depends on how you connect the kickers. If in series this would work, if not it will damage the amp.
Good Luck,

Amps on woofers are fine just won't hit

your probably making your amp run to low ohms if its a 2 channel amp bridged to one channel you can probably only run it at four ohms

Also seeing as your subs are 2ohm dvc you can't wire them individually to 2ohm and use each channel separately. So i'd recommend buying a 2ohm stable monoblock or running it at four ohms. a 1400 watt amp'll still pound at 4ohms and it'll extend your amp's life span

I have 2 kicker l7 12 dual voice coil subs.. i just friend a hifonics 1600w amp and am wondering if a kx 1200.1 kicker amp will be enough to power them they are 750w rms a piece .. can these be run at 1...

it all depends on the impendance of your subs if u have duel 4ohm or duel 2ohm, 2 duel 4ohm speakers can be wired at 1ohm to the amp, and with a kx1200.1 that would be pushin 2400 peak and 1200rms
if ya have 2 duel 2ohm speaker than you can only wire them to 2ohm and would be pushing 1200 peak and 600 rms with the kx1200, so if you have the duel 4ohm i would go with the kx1200.1 and if u have the duel 2ohm i would go with the hifoncs

500/1 v2 and one kicker VS12L7

It will work fine. This amp is stable to 1.5 Ohms, but is designed to put out about the same amount of power at 2 or 4 Ohms (unique).
