My PC wont recognise the F11 is connected.

First, am in the wrong club (F10, mines F11) sorry if I am. The PROBLEM - since disconnecting my camera from my desktop without shutting down the fine pix software first, it wont start up any more. Whats more "My PC" doesnt even have it as a device. That is the connection to the camera is completely ignored by the PC. I dont think its the camera because I can connect to other PC's. I have lost the installation CD, but information I have seen on the internet suggests that it should connect even without the finepix viewing software. Any help appreciated Regards Rupert

Hp compaq laptop how to restore to factory default?

Go to Start/All Programs/HP Tools/HP PC System Recovery

If this doesn't work then try pressing the F10 key multiple times during the bootup to access the recovery console.

If this still doesn't get things fixed then you need to re-install XP

Hello, I try to format my computer. Can someone help me please. thank you

most laptops that have the factory load on them, you restart and press a combination of either ALT F10, F11 or CTRL F10, F11 or just F10 of F11 by itself at boot up.

You should get a restore type menu.

Sorry to read about your problem, I hope this helps you out.

F10
Runaway Temperature.
1. (F10 only) Check RTD Sensor Probe & replace if necessary. If oven is overheating, disconnect power. If oven continues to overheat when the power is reapplied, replace EOC. Severe overheating may require the entire oven to be replaced should damage be extensive.
2. (F11, 12 & 13) Disconnect power, wait 30 seconds and reapply power.
3. (F11, 12 & 13) If fault returns upon power-up, replace EOC.

Need recovery disk for pc have none

By default your computer has a recovery partition, which can be accessed by hitting F11 key as soon as you start the computer, Keep tapping the F11 key and you will be able to access the Recovery manager, Select the option to do a system recovery and it will get restored to original factory condition.

Note: you can only access the recovery partition if you have not made any changes to the Original Operating system and the Hard Drive.

For any further assistance please feel free to leave your comments.

I have a gateway computer need to format it back to factory settings but don't have the recovery disk how do i do his

I'm told 4 things concerning gateways.

1) Press Alt over and over and over on the first screen you see when booting the computer.

2) Press F10 over and over.

3) Press F11 over and over.

4) press Alt +F10 or Alt + F11 over and over...

One of those 4 will eventually take you to the restore partition. Sorry, the forum I looked at was little help.

Computer will not start up

This is more than likely a voltage problem:

If Compaq: Hold the Fn + F10 or F11 while hitting the startup key.
If Dell: hold Ctrl+ Windows Logo Key.

hope this helps.
