Water full indicator light

Hi. recently my dryer stopped working and the water full indicator light remains on. I cleared the water tray and washed out the filter. any advice on how to proceed?

thanks gittos. I called out the repair person as I was concerned about invalidating warranty. as you suggest it was the lint/dirt that inhibited the water to some extent. apparently a known issue and quick to resolve. for future reference how do you access the area that has to be cleared?

On most condensor dryers they also have a filter water bottle and also a radiator have u checked this becomes sometimes they get clogged up with lint this then doesnt let water go through as easy and it can put your water light on

open the door there might be a blue pish button at the base of the door interior fascia but not on the door if not the base of your condensor dryer there is a panel that goes all the way across with slats on it it might also be behind there what it is is a radiator when long dimentions are 20in in length 4in in height and about 10in in width pull it out should have a handle on the front once uve pulled it out check all the way around taking any lint off this radiator is what cools the water down like a car one does and turns the steam into water which goes into your water bottle glad to be of service to u m8 hope u this is helpfull for u m8

My Ariston LI 680 Duo has stopped working mid cycle. The Auto (eco) and Rapid lights are both flashing and the bottom tray is full of water.

they make cleaners that can be run through a cycle so you don't get the yuckies and it can get places you can't reach. if the float switch is good and its not got a clogged drain I would look for the diagnostic paper sheet that is usually under the front bottem panel.
it will give you voltage and ohm reading tests of components within the dishwasher. the circuit board is worth looking at also. look for browned parts which show heat fatigue. a electrical meter is a must and if not sure of what you are doing and don't want to get shocked by current find a friend close who knows how and can show you.
you say it stops at the same point. time it with a stop watch . if its always exactly the same time the board timer may be out which means board replacement. boards are cheaper than motors ,but bad switches are even cheaper. . run your tests and it will lead you in the right direction. hope it helps

Empty water light, empty condenser

I experienced the problem with a hotpoint TCYM 750, with the red empty water light failing to switch off. After removing the filter and cleaning it, cleaning the condenser and drying anywhere I had access to the machine still didn't heat and the light remained on. Reading the post about the machine having 3 reservoirs it struck me that one of the reservoirs may be hard to access. So I unplugged the machine and tipped it onto its front. The reservoir drained, I pushed the machine back upright and cleared up some water around the condenser. The drier now works properly and the empty water light is off - job done!

Hotpoint Aquarius wdl540 wont pump out water

!. Check for water drips/leaks onto the wiring after removing the rear&or the side covers.This may sometimes not be visible to the naked eye -- a torch.

2.Check for loose connections to the pump.If all o k then remove the & test by connecting to the Mains.If it runs switch it off -- do not run it dry for more than a few seconds.If o k then it can only be the main board or timer.

Check if drain filter is clear and drain pump is working properly. Also remove soap conditioner tray and check if you have black residue inside the soap/conditioner dispenser. Sometimes this can prevent water from entering the conditioner tray.

Thanks for replying. I was able to solve the problem by clearing the filter and draining the samll tube beside it. I was unaware that the filter needs to be cleared regularly.

Hi
"dE" means that the door hasn't been closed properly. Check the inner seals of the washing machine particuarly at the bottom where water can get clogged. Also check the rubber seal around the front door to see if it has popped out or out of alignment. Also, "DE" in full letters can mean that the drain needs to be cleaned. Switch off the washing machine, pull out the flap on the bottom LH front of the machine, find the water tube and drain the water out of the LG. Then unlock and inspect the actual plastic tray/grid when twisted to unlock and pull out. There should also be a "drain" function on the main dial as a general maintenance option. Make sure you do this to keep your machine going.

Empty water button staying on

Remove lower left filter from dryer, and wash it out under running water. Reach inside the compartment and clean any fluff and gunge you can find there.
Get a plastic bag tie or similar, and feel for and locate a small hole at the rear of compartment, poke it clear with bag tie.
If you are certain that the element and stats are o/k , and it still does not heat and the light stays on, then that indicates that the float switch is stuck or is faulty.
To access this involves stripping the dryer down, not an easy job.

Water Indicator Light constantly on

Sounds like the sensors is dirty, or there is scale or deposits in the bottle. Clean out the bottle with a descaler if it has any scale (white or brown) deposits in it. If it is clear and still a problem, the sensors is inside the bottle holding section. Make sure there is not any fluff or dirt in there by giving it a hoover outand a gentle brush.
