I have a problem with my Hooover 200M. The water seems to only dribble into the washing machine. I have taken off the top and tested the actual hoses and found that the pressure is fine from there. I have also checked from the actual jets that attach to the what i would call an exit valve or exit house which is basically where the water exits into the washing machine. As soon as I plug it into the "exit valve" it just dribbles out. But as soon as I take the jet out from the valve the pressure is fine. Its really odd. If anyone can help it would be muchly appreciated.
The solution is a faulty solenoid valve, either the hot or cold valve depending what temperature you are using.
Replacing the valve is easy turnoff machine unscrew hose, remove 3 srcews to lift control cover, slide out locking tab, unclip wires the replace valve which cost about 30-$40

Check the inlet screen on the hose connection on the back of the machine. This may be clogged with debris, also make sure you hose is not crimped. You can unhook the inlet hose and put it in a bucket and turn it on to see how much water is actuall coming thru that hose. I suspect some type of blockage in the inlet.
Hi just read your posting. It should be in the center of the agitator.Pull the center out and there should be a lint bag attached to it.Unfortunately they do not stop much lint from getting on the clothes.Hope this helps and please reply if you need more help.
You can fix one of two ways.
1/ replace the cold water solenoid valve
This is located directly behind the cold water hose fitting
at the top of the machine
Remove the small electrical control panel by removing the
three small screws.
2/ If you only need the cold wash program you can save
money by swapping the vaves around. They are easy to
remove and they are held in place by a plastic insert which
lifts up to remove them .
Make absolutely sure that your Machine is disconnected from the mains supply before you replace these valves
