I'm sorry about coming in here with an old machine problem. My dryer is about 10 years old and does not produce any lint in the filter. Can you suggest anything?

If its not producing lint then more than likely that it has a hole in a inner pipe and the lint is going inside your drum take the back off with the machine un-plugged and check if lint is inside then clear it out has this can set afire then find were it is coming from u can do this 2ways look for the hole or plug back in and start it if u will notice were it is coming from within a few minutes

WD 9900 does not dry

Most all dryers, including combo washer/dryers, have an electric wire coil for a heating element.
I suspect yours has given up ( they usually break in two, stopping the electrical flow). You should need to have the element replaced.
Going to need to take the whole machine apart to fix this.
Be blessed.

Washer doesn't stay running. filled with water, then shut down then filled some more and now stuck doing nothing. If push start button if runs for about 5 seconds then shuts off. 10 years old.

For being 10 years old...I'd say R.I.P Neptune. A 10-year-old dryer is going to cost you more in repairs than the cost of a new machine! And even if it is cheap enough to fix, the parts may be no longer available. I used to work at the Harrisburg PA Sears Parts/Service Center...trust me...I know.

KitchenAid Dryer Timer stopped working - won't stop drying

Timers cannot be repaired. The mechanism is a spring - once it weakens, or fails - a new timer is required.

It is $83.72 USD.

Here is a Buy-it-Now eBay auction for $34.99USD & Free shipping!!

Your part number for the timer is 3976570a

A used part would have to come from an appliance store that salvaged from an abandoned washer.... and it may fail shortly anyway.
The new timer will have a warranty, and give you 10 more years of service.
Well worth it.

We have a 10 year old KitchenAid washing machine and tonight after it filled with water instead of working properly it made a wierd noise and didn't agitate. How much would it cost for someone to come and...

The KitchenAid is an excellent washing machine and I would recommend keeping it going as long as possible. The most probable cause is a broken motor couple and the cost to repair is around $100

Wasing machine leaves rust spots on clothes.

check the basket of the machine for rust spots on the basket if thats the case the basket should have a 10 year warranty depending on the age marks are either caused from that or the dryer. if its frigidaire the dryer then the front seals probably need to be changed make sure to find out exactly which machine its coming from
