False ricoh 1224c paper jam warning

At first, paper concertina-ed after leaving the cassette. Cleaned rollers. Reset paper trays. Then it wouldn't even pick up paper.
Left it a couple of days. Did some research. Checked paper tray settings were locked, then tested. Concertina-ed again. Took everything out, put it back, and now it won't pick up paper again.

Sir! the problem of our kyocera mita fs 3800 is this that it gives us message that the paper is jam please open the cassette 1.and remove the paper. we opened the cassette 1 checked the tray but there is...

Try cleaning the paper feed rollers for that cassette. Sometimes the rollers get dirty causing the paper to slip and not feed from the cassette causing the machine to register a paper jam.

The rollers can be cleaned with rubbing alcohol and a cloth.

Jams in tray 2

Table 7-10 Causes of tray 2 jams

Cause Solution

The feed or separation rollers are dirty, worn, or damaged. Clean the rollers. If they are dirty after cleaning, or if they are

worn or damaged, replace the rollers.

The pickup roller is worn or damaged. Replace the pickup roller.

The tray 2 paper pickup assembly drive gears are damaged

or the assembly is defective.

Check the drive gears in the paper pickup drive assembly.

Replace the pickup drive assembly if the gears are

damaged. See Paper-pickup drive assembly.

The tray 2 pickup solenoid (SL101) is damaged. 1 Disconnect the connector for the tray pickup solenoid

from the dc controller PCA (location J92).

2 Measure the resistance between the cable connectors.

3 If the measured resistance is not approximately

160 ohms for the HP LaserJet 4200/4300, or 110 ohms

for the HP LaserJet 4250/4350, replace the tray 2

pickup solenoid.

The tray 2 lifter-drive assembly or the stack position

sensor (PS107) is defective.

Replace the lifter-drive assembly. See Tray 2 lifter-drive

assembly and/or Printer switches and sensors.

The dc controller PCA is defective. Replace the dc controller PCA. See Dc controller PCA.

Dirty, worn, or deformed pick-up roller, cassette separation

roller, and cassette feed roller.

Clean the rollers if they are dirty. Replace any worn or

deformed rollers. The cassette separation roller and the

cassette feed rollare are to be replaced together.

Damaged gears in the cassette pick-up drive unit. Move the gears in the cassette pick up drive unit. If the

gears are not rotating correctly, or are damaged or worn,
replace the cassette pick-up drive unit.

We have a Ricoh Aficio CL3500N and every time we print the paper jams and we get the "Remove Misfeed A: Internal Path". I remove the jam and when it tries to print again we get the same thing,...

There may be an obstruction inside the printer. Try this....remove the paper from the paper tray and put paper in the handfeed tray (front of the machine) If it feeds from that tray it means that the feed rollers in the bottom cassette are worn.

Toshiba estudio 200 keeps having false paper jams where are paper sensors located?

its not the paper sensors you need to get to its the feed rollers, which will be above the paper tray near either the left or right side of machine. clean those with glass cleaner. if they appear smooth in any way they should be replaced, keep old ones to compare. what you are referring to as false jams we in the copier world call the "ghost jams"

Paper Jam

Open up the doors and blow some compressed air throughout the paper path (where the paper travels up). Make sure to blow air onto the sensors, because paper dust can coat them, causing false jams.

Does the paper get out of the tray at all? There is a feed roller that feeds the paper up into the machine; if you remove the paper tray you can see this roller -- it's big and gray and has grooves across it -- above where the paper sits toward the front of the printer. Blow air onto this roller as well, and if you have either D-ink or a rubber rejuvinator, clean the roller with a lint-free cloth.

Also make sure the paper is snug in the tray and not bent or crooked.

Paper jams at pickup from tray

Hi Make sure the paper tray (cassette) is not missing the small separation pad with the spring. It is part of the paper cassette. the roller may be worn so cleaning it might not help. Lawrence

Error 13-jam paper HP Laser 4+

HP LaserJet 4, 4m, 4 Plus and 4m Plus Series Printers - False Error Message 13 PAPER JAM ISSUE: After clearing all jammed paper from the HP LaserJet 4, 4m, 4 Plus, or 4m Plus series printer, the display still reads 13 Paper Jam . Even after cycling the power off and then back on, the error remains. SOLUTION: Open the rear door of the printer. There is a paper sensor near the upper right hand corner of the fusing assembly (just below the right edge of the long yellow warning sticker on the fuser) that can cause paper jam error messages even when there is no jammed paper in the printer. Toggle the thin black plastic lever up and down to make sure it is not stuck or sticky. The lever should be in the down position before closing the back of the printer. If the lever is stuck or missing, the printer will generate a false paper jam message. Hope it will help you !
